Yes. Drs. are scratching their heads. I believe it is an answer to prayer. I was negative for JCV the morning of the lumbar puncture. And then negative for PML.

I am positive for JCV, I was on copaxone for 3 years (until I graduated to PPMS). I was told and researched that Copaxone is not a med that can trigger the JCV, there are a few DMT's that can. I refused to try a few other DMT's bc I was JCV + but I had no issue going on Copaxone. Good luck!

so I will need an LP, will need floro. I'm concerned starting on copaxone cause of this. So JCV just went away?

I was on Tysabri and tested positive for JCV. Had a lumbar puncture for PML and was negative. Thank God. Now negative for JCV. Starting Ocrevus this Friday.
