I had MRI'S every 6 months for about 1.5 years and now 1 every year! Alot but for good reason! You have had ms for 14 years and I think for you to have them every 6 months is a total overkill unless you show active lesions that often. ...I pray not!

Yes that is a lot of MRI' s. I have had MS for over 27 years and I do NOT want to count how many i have had. Sometimes I wonder if these MRI's are causing more health problems for me along with MS. I still continue to get them though and it is great news that I have no new active lessons shown on the MRI's. I would not know this without the MRI's being done .

I’ve only had 2 (brain and spine) another was ordered for me last year but insurance will not let me do the MRI bc I did not meet my deductible so I am in the process of getting the MRI’s paid for by MS society.

I go every 6 month for the past 18 years and sometimes more because of brain tumors so between everything MRI's are part of MS hope it all goes well for you. Be well my friend🙏🙏🙏✌😊

In patients with normal kidney function, most of the gadolinium contrast medium injected (over 90%) is passed out in the urine within 24 hours. I get my liver and kidneys tested all the time.
