I sought an appointment with a neurologist who specialized in MS and using Botox for just that purpose. I was seeking help for my MS hug problems in my torso. Alas, she said Botox wouldn't work for that because of the risk of Botox impacting my heart (!).

But I've heard many others say Botox is quite effective at providing relief for MS spasticity in legs, arms, face and other muscles.

@A MyMSTeam Member I never lost any strength. I have incredible tone(not the good kind) that fights anything trying to loosen it, that's why I have a baclofen pump

I was offered Botox for scissoring in my legs . I don’t want to lose any strength as a result of Botox .
