or you can find out what people OUT THERE are doing from their computers at home. you can do quick lessons on how to transcribe from home.. just don't fall for anything that makes you 'buy the package'...

There are a number of MSers who do "gig" work and more doing work-at-home jobs. IMO that's *bad* for MSers because we need to be *out* and doing things in the "real world" to combat the "shut-in" dynamic that MS pushes us into.

Besides urging you to "think outside the box" my own work experiences were as a college grad so it's a different POV.

Have you considered a community college? FWIW, many states 2-year colleges are a bargain. My son was actually paid to go to college for his first 2 years (his grants and aid were thousands less than tuition and books). That's Illinois, I'm not sure about NV.

Us being disabled, gimpy with this screwed up disease has many negatives -- we all know that too well. But we do have the huge *positive* and luxury of *time.* We can go slow and plan for an uncertain future.

Hey, we all have this ticking time-bomb in our brains that could go off at any time. So why not grab life and go for it?! 🙂

I would say do what you can and what you like to do. Maybe work part time, Don't over do it. Reducing stress is extremely important now with MS. Stress will take us down faster than anything.
