I am REALLY struggling with fatigue. The kind of fatigue where I never really feel good. It takes me to dark places. It's probably my biggest battle. I've tried Adderall (immediate and extended release 10-20mg), and that makes me feel like a crackhead (wired, but tired). It's awful! Please share what has worked best for you. I am vitamin D and B deficient, so I make sure to take D3 and B12 daily.
I take Modafinil 200 mg, twice a day. It has helped immensely. I also keep very active and exercise regularly. When I got really tired I made myself get up and go for a walk or got busy doing something, Taking sugar out of your diet or drinking a protein shake helps also.
I take Modafanil and it helps combat fatigue greatly
Personally I take modafinil but it just takes the edge off. No miracle for me.
I could never find a med that didn't make me feel like it was a weekend night in college (altered). I tried self-hypnosis. I know how it sounds but it helped. From learning about what to do to self-hypnotize, I learned about inserting breaks periodically during the day. At first, that didn't sound right to me, but I found I could go longer producing better results by inserting breaks in my day. I had a hard time, at first, taking a short break when I wasn't fatigued. However, I found taking regular breaks increased the time where I didn't feel fatigued. I would hope you could ask your neurologists about self-hypnotism and they could help you find a local provider. It helps to know this can also be called meditation. I've heard people talk about meditation and think it's a sister to self-hypnosis.
I recently started over the counter supplement like Malic Acid with Magnesium to reduce muscle fatigue and supports muscle strength and recovery .
