Hiya Patrick, I am 12 yrs into in RRMS diagnosis. Currently taking Aubiago 14mg DMT (Diesease Modifying Therapy). My primary complaint is the creeping numbness that starts at my fingers and toes, and has slowly over the years creeped up my legs and arms. This of course screws with my balence, and I stumble about like I am drunk. I have lesions mostly in my upper spinal cord. NOW: your Question about questions. First I will say own your illness. Be honest with Doctors and yourself. Lets face it, fear rules our lives as we navigate the BS that is RRMS. Information will quell your fears. There is no stupid questions you could ask. You are a whole person, and therefore you should look at your whole self. Could you be doing better with your diet? Are you on the right DMT? Are all your disabilites cause by the MS? Or are there other things going on in conjuction with medication side effects? Good Luck to you Patrick and anyone else reading this. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! love n hugs....Jeannette G.
Hello Patrick and Happy Birthday Month 🥳 As far as questions to ask the new doc...I'd ask any that weren't answered by your previous doc first off. Inquire about new therapies also. Ask how long has this person been treating MS. Of course, ask how they prefer to treat MS. I believe this isn't your first MS doc...right? Good Luck!!
