I am 77 years old and have been lucky up to this time managing my MS. But now I have such weakness in my knees and calves. I look 100 years old when walking outside. And today is the first day our temperatures are in the 90’s and it just zaps everything I’m trying to do outside.
Does anyone else have those problems? I am in secondary progressive MS.
I do I used to love summer but anything over 70 degrees and I have to stay home
Be careful when your legs become weak. I was foolish and tried to power thru muscle weakness and had two bad falls. Learned the hard way to use a cane or rollator for balance when i feel legs going.
Yes, im secondary as well, and heat and intense sun just wipes me out.
I have an awful time with the heat & cold or when the Temps fluctuate. In the cold my leg spasticity is obnoxious. When it's hot I'm like "jello", wobbly, or like a wet noodle aka "useless". I'm 61 now. I deal with PRMS. I HATE IT!
I’ve never had a problem with heat, love the beach, pool but no longer. Thank you for your feedback!
