I'm on 3 weeks since urgent neurology referred me and nothing yet. I heard it is up to 10 month waiting period.
I hope I heard wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised by this either.

Talk to your GP, and also touch base with the MS society they have a few names that they can suggest. The trick is to get into any neuro in the mean time you can then switch when the wait list comes up

That's sounds so familiar. When things went sideways for me it was all at once. Try to keep from overheating. Invest in an a/c unit if you don't have one. Heat is the enemy. I cooked myself a few years ago in the summer sun and my symptoms got super bad. Stay positive because it's a long haul and the first few years for me were the worst but I've adapted and it's possible for all that stuff to go into remission so keep the faith.

Dr Racosta is who I've been referred to. Unfortunately I do not have a neurologist.
I called today and it said a 10 month waiting period. I'm at a loss. I can't drive, walk a straight line, do my regular job, and typing this out is a chore.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and my spirits high.
For now I'll just bounce off walls and throw mini temper tantrums every time my fingers choose to go rouge on me while typing 😉

I was lucky when I got Diagnosed...been almost 10 years now as Dr. Morrow picked up my case but i know her practice is full on her side. . So the wait list might be the case. Do you have even a regular neuro currently? the most important thing with MS now is to get on a DMT of some type to keep progression at bay. So a regular neuro can also assist there too... but the MS clinic is your best bet for sure. According to the website Dr. Juan Racosta is still accepting patients. check out the below link.
