I’ve been having a rough time with sleeping lately. Once I finally fall asleep the least little things wake me up then I have to start all over again. This can’t be a normal thing right?

I don't eat chocolate before bed. I'm on Cymbalta and gabapentin for pain. I generally sleep 11 hours a night. Earplugs and a fan!
As long as I maintain my swimming on a regular basis, my sleep pattern is decent, except for a nightly potty break, however if I miss more than 2-3 days, my sleep pattern can get broken up. That provides me incentive to not let my swimming to lapse to much!!
Yes, it can. Exercise, meditation, a regular bedtime routine (like training babies) all help. I use an app. called aura and occasionally take 1valerian root capsule- herbal, non-addictive, and I wake up refreshed.
Try relaxing breathing. It really helps 🙂
I do breathing exercises to fall asleep. It does help. If you wake up trying taking slow deep breaths and then slowly release the breath through your mouth. 🙂
