I get why you may be asking about infusions. Your first go can be unsettling at first but once you get into the infusion room and they get the IV portal in, you're good to go. Though getting the portal in feels like a needle poke and not much more, I still can't watch the nurse do it. You get medicines like Benadryl and aspirin right away and I get some liquid steroids all before the medicine bag comes. The nurses keep a close eye on you, taking readings like every hour. I've never had a problem with the infusion but saw someone else in the infusion room have one. The nurses stopped the meds right away and called the doctor. Before the doctor could get to the infusion room, the nurses had helped the patient to the point where they walked away from the room after talking with the doctor. The infused med happened to be my DMT, it was my 4th try. Two days after the infusion, I noticed how much it had helped me. You should try one as you're covered both ways the infusion can turn out!
