I need to get a power wheelchair and I have insurance through my employer. I know my insurance covers mobility aids. Has anyone else successfully gotten a power wheelchair using their insurance? I am not sure where to start.

I just received a mobility scooter thru FIGHT MS. they referred me to 4 different companies.

I had to get a referral from my Dr. And a note from my neurologist stating I have MS.

they also gave ms a $2,000 grant.

In check out the websites and they had mobility wheelchairs also.

Call FIGHT MS @ (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators).
Then you’ll receive a navigator to help you from there.

I strongly recommend cal the MS Society to if you don’t get anywhere.

Good luck. After I started the whole process my scooter was here within a month.

I’m sure you’ll love you wheelchair
