Hi all hope you are well. I have suddenly developed a persistant tremor in my left hand. Does anyone know why this may have suddenly come on out of no where?

Hi Kaylee, when it comes to MS your system does not necessary need a reason to start any thing & if it stops again no reason, I know there is a good reason for it the only thing I would say is talk to your Neurologist or check some manuals. I hope it helps.🤗💙🌷.

Tremors for me come every day when I sit down to put clothes on , socks, or shoes. There is a muscle in the palms of my feet that activate them. My legs also give tremors when they are extremely tired. In both cases the only remedy for me is rest? Hope that works for you!

Stop drinking coffee and do some hand exercises to strengthen the muscles in your hands.

When I had relapsing remitting ms, all of my symptoms came on suddenly out of nowhere. I think it’s just the “nature of the beast.”

Hi Kay
If you use the analogy of demyelinated nerves, caused by MS inflammation, being like having electrical wiring with frayed or damaged insulation around the wires, then the level of damage and impact on performance is likely to worsen over time. Unfortunately, your tremors are probably part of the next step as the disease advances. Sorry to put it in such depressing terms 😢
