I suffer from depression, and can dissolve into unstoppable tears. And yes, I take meds for this. How do you deal with depression?

I too stay in constant prayer. Bible study everyday for an hour or more. Christian Worship music as well, singing along , lifting my hands to praise the Lord. I take 1500 mg Tumeric because pills do not cooperate with my body. Focus on the beauty of the Lordโ€™s creation.
My daughter gave me four houseplants three years ago and now I have 30! They are exceptional therapy.
Blessings to you.
Some anti depressants actually magnify depression. Tumeric helps a lot! Plus, it is natural and an anti inflammatory ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

@A MyMSTeam Member, one of the main systems of MS is depression. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain that's caused from it. That and the stress of having the disease. I take medication for it, ambilify

Hello there, @A MyMSTeam Member! I have suffered from chronic depression for about 30 years. It runs in my mother's side of the family. My daughter was also recently diagnosed, and she also sees a therapist. I take Paroxetine, which is the generic version of Paxil. It works very well for me. You may want to tell your doctor that you're still crying a lot. He/She may want to change your meds or your dosage. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. Take care of you! Lisa ๐Ÿ’–๐ŸŽธ

Thank you so much! I see a counsellor once a month, but maybe I should see her more often. Unfortunately, sheโ€™s retiring soon, so now I need to find someone else. Sighโ€ฆ

It helps me to see someone about once a week or every two weeks. It varies depending on situations in my life. It clears my thoughts and helps me see things better. ๐Ÿ˜‡
