Gastroparesis is a slow emptying of the stomach.
I have it, not formally diagnosed, but I was a nurse for 35 years and recognize the symptoms. So far, I have been trying to just manage it on my own (sit upright for long time after eating, take my prescription strength Prilosec).
I still have episodes of belching hours after eating, and fighting back the emesis.
At some point, will mention it to my PCP, along with the IBS-C. Just what I need, another doctor to see and drugs to take......, NOT!!
It does. I was diagnosed a little while ago. Seeing a specialist soon
I had IBS-C when I was younger.. then my wonderful GP. or was friends with my neurologist.. mentioned to drink at least 16 oz of distilled water each day.. which I do.. and haven't had an issue since
Maggie, sorry, not familiar with that.
