My MS has fully taken my ability to walk on my own. I know I look too young to be in a wheelchair but it's kids that have made me laugh to myself at their questions. My current favorite is from this past Halloween. I was passing out candy from my wheelchair. One kid got quite distressed at seeing me in my chair but handing out candy while using a leg to keep the storm door open. He kept asking me if I was okay with increasing urgency as I gave candy to the other kids in his group. I didn't mean to ignore him but needed to pay attention to the other kids who had their bags open waiting for candy. That poor kid that was beside himself because I was handing out candy but didn't anyone else notice I may be in trouble. I know I could've lost my temper but the kid meant to be sweet.
