Members related to the challenge of others misjudging how disabled they are when living with MS, with many noting that the disease is often invisible and widely misunderstood. Several members shared experiences ranging from being questioned for using handicap parking to a doctor saying they didn't look like they had MS, and many chose to respond with patience, noting that most people simply aren't informed. A recurring theme was gratitude, with members appreciating well-meaning help and kindness, while gently educating others about how MS truly affects the body.
