for me..just makes me feel more miserable.. but, I don't have much contact with the outside world.. so, really don't get sick
I just got over the flu a couple of weeks ago, I had it but didn’t realize it was the flu until a VA nurse told me to go to the emergency room ASAP. to get looked at due to running a high fever for five days in a row with no relief and by me being a MS patient that put me to the front of the line. Type A flu is what I was I diagnosed with. The emergency room admitted me gave me a room to rest in and also gave me a breathing treatment. That alone made a world of difference to the way I was feeling. I went back home like a new person. For the long term relief they gave me a prescription of ibuprofen, and cough medicine. They took very good care of me😷🤗. My MS symptoms were a little stressed like my way of thinking, the numbness in my fingers and feet along with tiredness that I feel everyday but I survived it by following my doctor’s orders which consisted of increasing my rest and fluids.
Symptoms of MS might get a little worse as flu or cold sx could be a stressor, Personally, I don't notice much difference in the MS,😁
Just miserable get the flu shot it helps with the symptoms of ms
just wash your hands often.. especially when you visit doctors offices.. you might even go back to wearing a mask when you visit doctors offices.. and any get togethers where there are close quarters..
