I am a very high fall risk. I have a roll a door. I have a ramp. I fall more then I admit too. I am 39. I have been to pt for years before I was told I had ms and after. Years at a time and weeks. I have learned you will take the help and and ask for the help when you are ready. I have used my roll a door at times and my ramp I have done pt. ITS YOUR LIFE! WALK, ROLLS or LAY AROUND (Think about that).

I was reluctant and stubborn to use a cane until I kept falling then it was the walker until I couldn’t walk a distance then a scooter until I couldn’t walk farther. I say, use everything that can make it easier. Use your energy for what you really need it. Preserve it and use it for fun.

Judy, it took alot for me to start with the cane then a few years, I am on a scooter. People are nicer to me when I have a tool. I make sure that I stand as much as possible, otherwise my strength and the mobility is gone. Use it girl

Yes! I’m finally going to PT to get one. All after 25 years and many scary falls. Way past due. And I’m still reluctant.

Thank you so much for this, it does help me a lot. I don’t have a lot of support and I appreciate it
