I was diagnosed at about 15, after 2 bouts of optic neuritis and lower exremity numbness. Had skull x-rays and spinal tap to rule out other diagnoses. Numbness continues today. No really bothersome sx, no meds. Life pretty much normal. Nursing school, married second time, 2 grown children, volunteer firefighter/paramedic, 50 yr. Nsg. career, mostly Emergency dept. last 20 managing/ teaching paramedic program, retired 2007. Not fully recovered.BeganReferred to neurologist in early 90s. MRI showed MS areas. Still no meds. Cog. flare in May 2003. Still not fully recovered. Began seeing Dr. Boster at MS Center. Began Kesimpta 3 wks ago. Feeling better, at least psychologically. Looking forward to no disease progression, at least. Will see what happens. I will to answer any questions.
