Members responded to a question about Oxybutynin, mostly sharing personal experiences using it for overactive bladder, often related to managing MS symptoms. Several members noted that while it worked well at first, some found it lost effectiveness over time and moved on to alternatives like Myrbetriq, Detrol, or implanted devices, while others mentioned side effects like dry mouth or tongue swelling. A recurring theme was the importance of finding what works for each person, with members also mentioning helpful strategies like pelvic floor exercises, intermittent catheters, and the PureWick external catheter system.

I used to be on it. It stopped working. Then went to meribetiric (spelled wrong I’m sure) that also stopped working. Have an Avanox planted in side me. Imagine that had stopped, of course I didn’t think it Ever worked.
