For me, my first big symptom was the extreme fatigue that would come out of nowhere. Like a light switch. It came the first time when I was cutting grass and had to sit down every 5 minutes.
Limping, tripping, foot slapping. I though it was a 20 year old hip injury playing up,after a year of it I went to the doctor - she was right on to it, and sent me to a neurologist.
Like wise had trouble with rt hand with keys
First, I had slight weakness in my right hand. Didn't think much of it. Then cog fog, which I thought was a symptom of depression. I might in fact have been depressed as well as having MS, as I'd just had a Big Break Up.
My right side, from my hip to my foot went numb. Walked, drove and worked like that for six months before seeing my primary. They sent me to a neurologist, who made the RRMS diagnosis. I was happy it wasn't something deadly actually. I looked the doc in the eye and said "What do we do now?". Now, 25 years later...Im still walking, working and driving. I guess "we" did alright 🙂
A prognosis that left us in disbelief at first and slowly sinking in to our lives
