Breaks my heart when I hear of teens getting diagnosed or even younger kids. The haven't even had any time to really live without this MonSter on their backs and biting them in the arse. Most of them are amazing and continue to fight the MonSter but so unfair TBH.I might have been diagnosed at 22 but I LIVED and continue to but the kids never had a chance too without the MonSter on their back!!!
I was 26, and I’m almost 50 now. From my first symptom of waking up with my torso completely numb which progressed to nearly total paralysis until diagnosis was 19 days. I consider that a blessing because many people suffer from symptoms for years without any answers. So far, I have survived 100% of my worst days 🙏🏼
I will continue to fight this beast until my last breath. We are all warriors and together we are stronger!
MS doesn't heal itself, there is no cure. So either, you never had it or it is in "remission". However, you still do have it, @A MyMSTeam Member!
I got my diagnosis just before my 50th birthday. I consider myself very fortunate to have lived a "normal" life up until MS reared its ugly head.
24 Years old.
