Doctors don't test throughly for parasites. If they did too many people would be cured and wouldn't need their medical treatments that do nothing but mask the symptoms. Every wonder what is eating the myelin sheath around your never cells?

Curiously enough, parasites and STD were the first tests I went through once my MRI showed lesions. But that is because I lived in Latin America and probably we have higher incidence of parasites than in N. America.
