Do you have a spinal cord injury?
I do. A bad one. So my brain can't correctly interpret heat and cold signals in/on my body. I get "sweats" almost every day which are different from menopausal hot flashes. As an example, let's say the big toe on my right foot feels cold....my brain misinterprets that signal or the signal is disrupted or something, and my brain believes my whole body must be freezing, so it heats my body up until I'm sweating and overheated and miserable. Rarer is when my brain overreacts and cools my body down until I'm freezing inside and physically outside.
It seems like I can be hot and cold at the same time. It's almost impossible for me to find a meeting ground between the two
