I've had no side effects. They begin with SoluMedrol & Benadryl then Rituximab. It takes about 3-4 hrs. I sleep through it sometimes. It's relaxing to me.

(SPMS) I've been taking Rituximab infusions since 2018. "No new lesions since." I saw my Neurologist today. My IGG (immune) is low and stable. She's not ordering an infusion this year. She's keeping track of my blood work. I will show you all my IGG since 2018.

Rituxan (rituximab) is a medication sometimes prescribed off-label for people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) and progressive forms of multiple sclerosis. It is administered as two intravenous infusions, 15 days apart, and the effects can last up to nine months.

Common side effects include headache, dizziness, fever, chills, nausea, heartburn, and flushed skin. Serious side effects can include severe infusion reactions, infections, and in rare cases, a serious brain infection called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML).
