For those on Tysabri, does your infusion center have any doctors on site? I'm considering switching to a new stand alone infusion center with only nurses, no doctors. I would prefer to have a doctor on site just in case anything goes wrong, but does it really matter?
Can’t tie Sabree cause hypothyroidism? I had a friend with a medical degree who told me that the tie Sabree that my neurologist took me off of Cosmo hypothyroidism. Has this happened to anyone else?
Nurses only at my infusion Center
I was witness to a patient's reaction to a new infusion. I was getting an infusion in a center in a hospital so those of us getting "infused" were all treating different things. The nursing staff were keeping a watchful eye on all who were receiving infusions and the 1 person having a negative reaction to his medication was spotted relatively quickly and steps were taken right away to help him. A doctor did come by as the man who received the negative infusion was leaving (we were in a hospital after all) but the doctor just affirmed the patient was no worse for wear. So @A MyMSTeam Member, I think you're fine. on a side note, I read your response to this string and being from the east coast, I like the cut of your jibb
@A MyMSTeam Member thanks for actually answering my question!
I get my tysabri at an outpatient nurse center, within my local hospital. No doctors, just some sweet nurses! I really like it, but I've never had it any other way so I don't know better.
