I’ve been on Kesimpta for a couple of years now.
Other than needing to take Panadol for my loading dose everything else has been great.

Ensure to drink plenty of water and take Panadol for the loading dose and you’ll be good

Starting a new treatment like Kesimpta can be a big step. Here are some suggestions to help you through the beginning of your therapy:

- Keep a List of Medications: Make sure you have an up-to-date list of all your medications, including vitamins or herbal supplements. Bring this list to your medical appointments to discuss potential interactions with your healthcare provider.

- Ask Questions: Don’t hesitate to ask your healthcare provider lots of questions about Kesimpta. Understand how it should affect you, the benefits and risks, how and when to take it, and when you should start feeling the effects. Write down the questions and answers for future reference.

- Bring Support: Consider bringing a friend or family member to your appointments to help you remember all the details.

- Consult Before Vaccines: Consult your doctor before receiving any vaccines while taking Kesimpta.

- Monitor Side Effects: Be aware of common side effects like headaches, injection site irritation, injection-related reactions, and upper respiratory tract infections. Report any unusual or severe side effects to your healthcare provider.

- Stay Informed: Seek out as much information as you can about your treatment and condition. This can help you feel more in control and prepared.

Good luck with your new treatment!
