Hey everyone,

Im really struggling today with my mental health, I feel deflated, agitated, on edge and my anxiety is just unbearable. I didnt sleep at all last night, there is just too much going on in my head. Im living in a chaotic environment and I know thats part of this episode.

I really dont know what to do to feel better. Can anyone suggest anything to help me, I just need people who understand as I dont have a support network at home.

Members rallied around someone hitting a mental health low point, offering warm encouragement and a wide range of practical coping strategies for anxiety, sleep trouble, and an overwhelming home environment. Several members suggested journaling, meditation videos on YouTube, breathing exercises, cold water face splashing, and focusing only on the next 15 minutes rather than a full to-do list. A recurring theme was that lack of sleep makes everything harder, and that the community itself could serve as a support network when none was available at home.

Sorry you are going through that. Lack of sleep definitely intensifies everything you are feeling. My suggestion is to take a deep breath. Write down everything that is bothering you . Rage the page , and get all your thought out . Try to do a mediation there are tons to choose from on YouTube . Try to rest , lie down and close your eyes, even if you don’t sleep just try to let your body rest . Not sure if any of this will help you but I wish you luck . Remember tomorrow is a new day !

I use tapping techniques it helps me. I use the middle of the head. I pair that with leaves on a stream. Where you slow your thoughts and decide whether or not you need the thoughts.

What chaotic environment are you living in Kay-lee. Are you able to get away from it, even for a while of "me time"?
Try laying on the bed with this gong sound playing. Close your eyes and try to clear all thoughts from your mind. Every time a thought comes into your mind, just delete it. Keep going deleting any thoughts.

It's fucked. I tried praying my way out. Now I pray about what now. If we are still alive it's not over.

Hi Kay-Lee
Sorry you are having a difficult time.
I journal most days. Record my symptoms and how I’m feeling as well as what I eat.
It helps to see patterns and helps keeping me in check. Memory fails at some point always.
I also found Vibrant blue oils by Jodi Cohen. Her natural oils especially parasympathetic oil has been my life saver. I couldn’t sleep when first diagnosed with so much mentally and physically going on. I couldn’t shut down.
A small dab behind the ear lobes always get me to sleep no matter of the time. Honestly every time. Now I only need it occasionally after about a year of regular use.
Do something for you everyday no matter how small. It always makes a difference in time.
Think of it as building your bank account.
