So, I don’t have thin eyelids, but I don’t actually shut my eyes all the way when I sleep. An eye mask has been essential. I find my cognition is better after sleeping with one too. Even when I wake up a few times in the night, I feel better rested.
@A MyMSTeam Member, since Alaska has the almost 24 hours of daylight every summer, I have quite the collection of sleep masks!! 😴 😉
I wear a sleep mask. I don't know if my eyelids are thinner than normal but I wouldn't be surprised . MS never ceases to amaze me, with all the creepy things it does and causes.
After 30 years of marriage, I am used to his sense of humor. He's supports me through my MS journey and never complains about the help he provides every day. I'm lucky to have him and a little poking at my "Pokemon" cap is not a big deal. It adds levity to our lives. As far as intimacy is concerned - well - the hat comes off with everything else! 😉
I don’t believe mine are thin but I am thinking about getting a sleep mask so after waking up to pee I can get back to sleep sooner and maybe have less headaches.
