I woke up about 5am this morning and have not had the best of days. Let's just say me and getting to a toilet on time has not been on the cards today. Three changes of clothes feels so humiliating but I do have an appointment with the continence nurse I think on the 4/9, it's just like my signals are so delayed that the rush to go just comes upon me so suddenly, I'm normally on the top of it with routine. But I'm tired again ๐Ÿ˜ด all day on the sofa, in and out of sleep even sticking to theโ€ฆ read more

Members rallied around a post about the exhausting, humiliating reality of incontinence on bad days, with many sharing that they too have experienced accidents, multiple clothing changes, and the emotional weight of losing control. A recurring theme was letting go of shame, with several members recommending incontinence pads like Tena or Poise as practical, discreet tools, and one member sharing how speaking to their neurologist led to a helpful prescription. Encouragingly, the original poster later updated the community that working with a continence team revealed a long-standing constipation issue directly affecting their bladder, and with the right medication and planning, things improved significantly.

Everyday I eat a big salad of dark leaf greens which includes squash & beets for lunch &.dinner. Plus a mug of plain green tea with honey. Also do one hour of chair aerobics each day. Constipation cured.

Think of it as giving yourself a window while the oatmeal processes.

It happens. I use Poise pads or equivalent but have seriously considered the incontinence underwear, especially for night and "those days". 5 was the third time I go up and the last. I have bad days and good days

Sounds good Diane799 but I really struggle with eating as I have to prepare or be in the mood for it. Yes I know ๐Ÿ˜Œ eating well is important but it takes energy to make or go to the shops aswell especially since signals to eat regularly aren't there. I just feel sick if I get forced to eat if I don't want to. I apparently have disordently eating and have to have full control over my food and what goes into it. Different from an eating disorder as I eat but on my terms and only when I'm hungry. I will go all day without anything substantial as I don't have any time or signals to eat. I eat with my family at dinner time ๐Ÿ™ˆ is anyone else having the same issues ๐Ÿ˜ณ
I get nagged at for not eating during the day but I can if I want to.

You might want to try ingesting caffeine in a different form than coffee. Something they will not put strain on your bladder
