Mostly in one ear, sometimes both, sharp stabbing pain. Will go on for weeks then subside for no apparent reason. Infection and blockage has been ruled out by PCP.
I experience sharp pain behind/around my ears and my doctor tried telling me it was my sinuses and to just take a Sudafed but it's definitely not I even saw a ear nose and throat doctor who put a camera inside my nose and Nasal passages and everything is clear he said...so it being something to fo with the ms makes more sense.
@A MyMSTeam Member - Yes, mine began when I was swimming. Years ago I was lifeguard, and also did some diving. But, out of nowhere the very sharp stabbing pain began in both ears. Tests ruled out several possible causes. I still swim but cannot put my head in even just a couple of feet of water without the severe pain.

No stabbing but I have had constant ringing in my left ear since 2019, every since my cognitive problems worsened. Annoying.
YES,YES 😨. I have that also! The first part is correct. It's Trigeminal Neuralgia. For the longest time I was told it was Lhermitts Sign, but I didn't believe they was accurate because of the randomness of it happening. I take 300 mg when I feel it starting. I'm about 15-20 minutes it's gone. I'm SOOO sorry,I know the pain 🧡🧡
