Conversion Disorder is also known as Functional Neurologic Symptom Disorder. You experience legitimate symptoms with no explanation for them.
I've never heard of conversion disorder. I'll look it up thank you Jennifer. I hope you are receiving treatment for your symptoms? I'm so tired with mine. My appointment with my Neurologist is tomorrow. I know he won't have all the answers tomorrow, just hoping for some!
I have or had many same issues. Just keep a list handy to discuss with Dr. Im still not diagnosed with MS. I have Radiologically Isolated syndrome with conversion disorder. He said 1 more lesion and he'll diagnose me with MS.
I had my first appointment 2 days after my first MRI. At that time I knew nothing about MS. I knew no one that had it. The neurologist, not a specialist, told me all the things that were going to happen to me. Said he couldn't prescribe any meds but did suggest a spinal tap, which I refused.. He also sent me to a neurological surgeon and a neurological oncologist. My mind was in a blur but my husband did ask about diet and vitamins.
