I'm coming upon 2 years since I applied for disability. I finally have my hearing in February 2025, I do have an agency helping me now, but I'm curious about this process because it seems that no matter what, they just don't think you're disabled enough. There is no way I could work in my condition; I haven't been able to work in years now. Any advice from anyone would be awesome and greatly appreciated 💚
Yea, forget oh you don’t look sick, tell your doc to look out, nobody actually wants this mess, geesh!
I am going on my 3rd appeal which is going to federal now. I am going on 4 years of fight for disability. Progressively getting worse year after year. It's sad that being this disabled isn't disabled enough for them.
Hi my name is Kelley and I know what you are going through. I went through the same thing.
Jennifer, They made me see one of their doctors, which was a joke. Anyways after I saw him they gave it to me. It was not fore MS but for carpal tunnel. He was doing all these measurements on my hand, wrist nd arm. I just kept my mouth shut. It just proves that saying "but you look so good". You have to tell your doctors to document everything. Yes January is just around the corner and I am praying for you.
It's been a little over 3 yrs for me. They don't think Im disabled enough, either. Got first appeal hearing in Jan. 25.
