I think I may be developing symptoms of MS Hug. Not sure, so I wanted to check with y'all to see what you feel so I can compare the two.
If your MS doc is one of the ones getting EKGs for you, he's a nincompoop and you need a new Neuro yesterday.
Like an ace bandage is wrapped around my chest!
I hate to wear a bra. It's too uncomfortable for me. I tried sports bras, but they are not comfortable either. I have chest pain sometimes but I stopped running to the doctor because my chest x-rays are normal. I found out it's called the MS hug. I take a muscle relaxer and tylenol but that's it. I'm a disabled nurse. No longer working. In nursing school, they said it doesn't run in your family. I learned that is not true. My brother was diagnosed years before me. I hope this helped a little. Everyone with MS is different so don't take what others say and think that will be you. Take your time learning more. π
Mine started as mild pressure around my ribs. The pressure increased and I actually worried I was having a heart attack. When the ms nurse said it was ms hug I was relieved. Try to relax when it happens π
My bra too tight or just chest discomfort.
