@A MyMSTeam Member Hi! I've taken Nuvigil to keep me awake for Many years (and still) with no side effects! My BP is good (110/70). Might effect people differently (?).
I've added you and @A MyMSTeam Member to my team. Be well! Hugs!

Provigil is a must have for me, they did cut my dosage down a few years ago because my BP ran high, but there have been days I have forgotten to take my morning meds and I didn't want to do anything but sleep all day, so for me it's a must have, I haven't ever experienced any side effects thankfully

Yes, I find Provigil helpful. Some days nothing will work, but on the typical day it gets me through the hardest hours (for me between 11AM and 4PM). I try not to take it on weekends unless something is going on and I need to be more alert. Amantadine did not work for me.

Provigil (modafinil) is used off-label to manage MS-related fatigue, but its effectiveness varies. Some people report feeling more alert and less like they're in "zombie mode," while others find it doesn't help much or causes side effects like headaches. Clinical trials, like TRIUMPHANT-MS, found it wasn't significantly more effective than a placebo. Always consult your doctor to see if it's right for you.
