I asked the same question to my neurologist. She didn't think I should consider stopping. From everything I've read there are conflicting opinions out there.
I've not experienced anyone saying it's the best time to have m.s. There is never a good time for it. I understand where they're coming from, but only someone with m.s. would understand it's a ludicrous statement

As a long time researcher and MS patient, I agree with that phrase. since I have had this over 3 decades, I remember 4 or 5 decades ago, a diagnosis was not positive as you were expected to be disabled in 10 years. I made it al ost 40 before the "Monster" finally took much of my life away but still swinging and fighting back. Live the best life you can!!

A rather passive-aggressive thought, how insensitive of that person! btw, I believe that is 1 of the worst things to say.

Same here. After over 20yrs. on Copaxone and generic, I was told I had aged out as it wouldn't do anymore good. Then I told neuro I was already down to one a week as I was tired of lumps, bumps and divets in shot areas and sometimes needing antihistamine after. No big changes since.

You provide an interesting point of view. I've never thought of it that way. Thank you for replying.
