For a while I was taking way too much ibuprofen and naproxen for the unrelenting spasticity in my legs. This caught up with me and my regular bloodwork indicated a problem and my neurologist referred me to a nephrologist. The nephrologist told me if I continued this path, I was on a fast track to kidney failure and a future of dialysis. That was the wake up call that I needed! I am limited to Tylenol only. Does it solve the pain problem? Not entirely, but my bloodwork isn’t raising red flags anymore! Just say no to dialysis!!!
Hope this helps! 🤷🏻♂️
I only take Tylenol Arthritis strength.
@A MyMSTeam Member, try some homeopathic stuff for spasticity, they’re chewable, you can find at Walmart
@A MyMSTeam Member Tylenol for me and herbal stuff
@DaveW sorry, but I'm going to one up you.😉 THE only OTC stuff I take for pain is Curamed Turmeric and Terry Naturally Organic Grape Seed oil extract. Turmeric works like Tylenol. Grape Seed oil works like Ibuprofen. And zero blood work needed cuz there will be zero organ damage. They are the only things that really take the edge off all my different types of pain, or make the pain go away entirely.
Aside from that, I get trigger point injections, LSB, nerve blocks about once every month or month and a half. These only work about 1/2 the time. Everything was WAY better when my pain doc offered ketamine.
Everyone's pain is different. Everyone experiences pain differently. There is often a trial and error
