Ampyra is the medicine that helps with balance and walking. The side effects were awful for me. I used pt. They had several exercises for me to do. You could try msgym.com

A specialized balance and eye-movement exercise program can significantly improve balance, dizziness, and fatigue in people with MS. Regular exercise performed at least 5 days per week, even in small amounts, can help improve walking difficulties.

Working with a neurophysical therapist is particularly valuable since they have specialized training in MS-related mobility issues. They can help retrain your gait mechanics and create a personalized exercise plan to improve your walking. For additional support, various assistive devices can help maintain balance and prevent falls. These include canes, walkers, Canadian crutches, and supportive braces like ankle-foot orthotics for drop foot. Many people with MS find that combining exercise with appropriate mobility aids provides the best results for managing walking and balance challenges.

Remember to pace yourself with exercise - one MyMSTeam member learned that overdoing it on the treadmill made walking more difficult afterward. Start slowly and gradually build up your activity level.
