Thank you for sharing. I have been experiencing that. No meds though. I am worried with meds it will still progress.

I have struggled with severe leg and back spasms for about 8 years. I swear I’ve tried everything from pickle juice to multivitamins. Low magnesium can cause muscle cramps and I take magnesium to help with them. However, the last few years have been so bad I’m on Zanaflex three times a day. Over the counter meds that have helped have been alpha lipoic meds especially the PM versions and topical rubs like aspercream with lidocaine. You can order magnesium topical cream from Amazon. I plan to try that next. Heat normally would help but it makes MS worse. Also I try to drink plenty of electrolytes in the summer because my body doesn’t handle changes well.

It's hard to keep ability when the muscles don't work. It's not possible to build up the muscle strength. I try every day.
