I am only 51 and the people that I am close too were complaining about me asking them to repeat what they are telling me, so w went to the audio doctor who gave May a hearing test at which he said I am experiencing a slight loss of hearing. Can MS be the cause of this?

I lost the hearing in my right ear my first year in college.. I was 19 years old, at the time.. I wouldn't be d/g with MS for 17 more years.. but, when I was, the neurologist said it was most likely was.. with age, I am losing hearing in the other ear, slightly.. so wear hearing aids in both ears now

My wife and daughters seem to think so or maybe just learning to block out specific tones. More research needs to be published on that so I have a good excuse with scientific evidence LOL.

Yes I too have to wear hearing aids its so crazy one day I woke up with fluid leaking from my ear went to the er and was told I had an ear infection I end up going back when I got ringing in both ears followed by bad vertigo I couldn’t hear that well couldn’t stand up straight I went back and they sent me to the doctor and for testing and was told Im losing my hearing in both ears its called sensorineural hearing loss and I have tinnitus in both ears the hearing aids helps a lot I hope you feel better
