MarieH answered the question for me. When I'm not tired, I can do a lot of stuff into the night. However, when I do have fatigue, I just do what I can and then take a nap. After that, I resume what I was going to do-try to anyway.

MS fatigue can significantly impact emotional wellbeing, often creating a challenging cycle. The extreme exhaustion can lead to:

• Feelings of anxiety and frustration
• Mood swings
• Depression
• Difficulty maintaining relationships
• Feelings of isolation when others don't understand the severity of fatigue

Many people with MS report their emotions feeling "all over the place" when dealing with severe fatigue. The fatigue can create a difficult cycle where:

• Exhaustion leads to decreased physical activity
• Reduced activity can increase other MS symptoms
• Sleep disturbances may develop
• These factors combine to worsen fatigue further

This cycle can be mentally and emotionally draining, affecting both work life and personal relationships. It's important to discuss these emotional impacts with your healthcare provider, who can recommend appropriate management strategies.
