I have foot drop and my pcp had me obtain an orthopedic brace. It is very important to help you with mobility issues. It is very easy to use.

I developed foot drop in 2022 after dealing with RRMS since 1992 and was the start of my SPMS, and dealing with it has not been easy. I got an AFO which helps when I am out, but around the house I don't wear shoes, so find the foot not responding well at times. I know there are excersies that help as did PT to help but have not really kept up with homework. I use a walking stick while out and know your frustration.

Hi @A MyMSTeam Member! My walking issues include my legs, feet, dizziness *due to past seizure issues.

I’m thankful for the cane, I do physical therapy every other day, I take gabapentin and baclofen.

These things help to an extent daily, but some days loom larger with greater pain.

I’m a Christian and my faith in Him helps me, and caffeine helps (2) drinks a day (espresso, coffee). I’am the coffee snob! ☕️Cheers!

I know the struggle is real! Make it a good day! 🙏✝️

When i am tired I walk slower and takes more effort. I am 74. I don't risk falls. I use a walker with wheels and a seat and handbrakes.

Wearing a brace and doing PT is not pushing it. That is therapy working for you.
