T2 flair is description of MRI program that is used to read and see details of lesions. Most MRIs use this technique now.
Hyperintensity is description of an an active lesion. The location is important in describing lesions. Not all lesions are MS but MS tends to be in typical locations according to research and that changes. Location can also be related to the symptoms you show. I am not an expert or doctor. Sharing what neurologists shared with me. If the radiologist is trained in neuro radiology the report might include comment that these lesions are significant and some clarification. But the Neurologist is one to diagnose from the MRI .
T2/FLAIR came up on mine (in a new - different from my last MRI- kinda way) what is the significance of the t2 Flair??
We're they diagnosed as MS lesions? Not all lesions are .
