Overview of Metformin's Role in MS
Metformin is primarily known for its use in managing type 2 diabetes, but recent studies have suggested its potential benefits for individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). Research indicates that metformin may help alleviate symptoms and slow disease progression due to its ability to reduce inflammation and promote myelin repair.
