I get that with my knuckles on my right hand and my left knee. It's from having osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis.

I am suffering the same issue with the knuckles (hands), knees and shins. I just thought it was my OA in regards to these things. I have some arthritis cream that I've started using as of yesterday. So far so good.
