Neuro PTs always talk about exercises for drop foot or "drop leg" but I've never heard anything about exercises for MS Hug - if there is even such a thing for the lovely squishing I occasionally endure on behalf of Nature.

I have had relief from 'The Hug' by using a piece of hollow rubber tubing; knot it in the middle then knot a handhold at each end; it should be the length across both arms; now place the rubber tubing over solid door and take hold of each end. By gently pulling at each end you can raise and lower each arm. Go at your own pace;I found after I'd done a few arm raises I could then use the band to do further free standing exercises. This was my own program; I can not say it's a specific PT exercise; just self administered excises I found gave me relief. Worth a go???.

Indeed, Denise joyce-I have an electric blanket i've had for over 10 years, going to need it this weekend-near freeing temps in the morning,

Jennifer , have you heard of Dr. Gretchen Hawley on YouTube? She is a physical therapist that specializes in MS. I just saw a video about MS hug exercises . I don’t know why I can’t paste the link in this chat but if you look it up you should be able to watch the video.

I had MS Hugs for months at a time. Now, I haven't had one for at least six months. It just went away.
