This is bizarre, but bear with me. The past several days I've not felt like myself. Almost like I'm walking next me. When I look in the mirror it's like looking at someone else. It's very surreal. Like disassociation of my entire body/self. And just as bizarre, my hand and arm were in excruciating pain, yet I could feel no pain. I hope someone else has experienced bizarre crap like this. I'm beginning to think I'm off my nutter.

@A MyMSTeam Member that sounds scary. Maybe try grounding yourself . Not sure if it is cold out where you live but try to go outside barefoot on grass and walk around , or try this method- Name 5 things you see, 4 you feel, 3 you hear, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. See if you feel a little better after . Feel better ๐Ÿ˜˜

@A MyMSTeam Member I just learned that technique in NeuroRehab a couple weeks ago. I've using it and find it to be very useful.
@A MyMSTeam Member It's crazy you mentioned some of those things. My therapist told me I have the PTSD of a returning combat veteran. However, in the last 17 years I have never had this experience before the last 6 days or so. I also noticed that, like @A MyMSTeam Member and @A MyMSTeam Member my cog fog became foggier. In fact, it started as extra fogginess and kind of smeared into my hand/arm being in excruciating pain but feeling no pain. That part only lasted 12-14 hours-ish.
I was watching Sherlock (Sign of Three) tonight. Laughing during Sherlock's best man speech, and it was like I was listening to someone else in the room laughing. I think it was @A MyMSTeam Member who mentioned the experience being like 3rd person. Totally spot on.
I also have been doing a CBT workbook my GP and Talk Therapist recommended.
This is some crazy crap! I really like the workbook but I have been babystepping it because it's very difficult to be bluntly honest with onself.

Tiffany 246 that is a really good idea to escape whatever you are thinking about. Whether it's being **** **** or pain. By the time I get to one I forget why I was angry. Very good system i'm going to pass it on
