I have little to no feelings left in my legs and arms and face. I'm still walking. How is this possible? The eeg showed no nerve activity.
Yeah legs have pretty much no feeling
Has anyone lost feelings in their extremities?
Yes, many MyMSTeam members experience significant numbness in their extremities. This is actually one of the most common MS symptoms, affecting up to 80 percent of people with MS.
The numbness happens because MS damages the myelin sheath (protective coating around nerves) Show Full Answer
I have had limited feeling in my right hand & both feet for 40 plus years. It has gotten worse @A MyMSTeam Member but I still manage to compensate for it. Keep working to be an OVERCOMER! ππ§‘π§ πβοΈ
Thank you Kenny! I'll keep walking as long as the good Lord lets me.
You must be more careful when you are walking. I have been dealing with MS for over 40 years, and am still walking! I do use a walking stick or cane when I leave the house. Stay as active as you can. Any exercises that you can do helps.
