Does anyone else wake up startled while sleeping? I don't know why I think it could be something related to the heart rhythm, but it happens to me that when I am falling asleep I wake up startled like when you wake up because of a loud noise but in these cases no external agent causes it, it happens to me when I sleep, it is uncomfortable and I don't rest well. i have recurrent remitting diagnosed in 2014.

That sounds like sleep apnea or anxiety. You can do a sleep study test that can help you figure out what is happening. Be well!

If diagnosed by a sleep study, they will perscribe a CPAP machine. My wife haas it and uses one.
