No, don't give up so easily! I had the same issue myself, thankfully I didn't give up and found a few who truly listen and take their time with me, as well as do things with me. Expand your search, look for MS support groups; in the meantime, be thankful you found this site; reach out and connect with others on here. maybe you'll find 1 or more new besties like I and many others have.

That’s tough. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone but isolating is not a good idea , that can make things harder for you . Would any of these people be willing to go to a doctors appointment with you?

I remember her saying that "family" doesn't really believe her...so she is isolating due to that.

If you don't wish to answer questions, you shouldn't feel you have to. Maybe answer the question with a question. Isolation can add to depression.
